About Nā Mamo
"Nā Mamo" means "the descendants." We carry forward the traditions, values, and spirit of our Pacific Islander and Indigenous ancestors.
Rooted in Tradition, Growing in Texas
Founded in 2024, Nā Mamo was born from a deep commitment to preserving and sharing Pacific Islander and Indigenous heritage with communities across Texas. What started as a passion for cultural connection has grown into a movement.
We are the proud stewards of the 29-year-running Texas Alamo Aloha FiESTaval, bringing authentic Hawaiian culture — from hula and music to traditional food and artisan crafts — directly to San Antonio.
Our board brings together expertise in Hawaiian community advocacy, hula, business administration, and cultural preservation to ensure every event is authentic, educational, and deeply meaningful.
